Our 4 Speed Oil Filter Mount kits are designed to mount to the two rear holes on a four speed big twin transmission plate. Typically these holes are not used on a chopper, and makes for a very convenient, practical, and inconspicuous spot to mount a filter. Filter mounts are made out of 3/8” thick 1018 steel in a show chrome finish. Each kit comes with filter mount, chrome 5/16 mounting hardware, Oil Lines, and oil line mounting hardware. Filters are not included. These use the smaller spin on filters used on 80-85 Harleys with 5/8 threads. OEM part number 63782-80.
Fitment: These are designed for choppers, and will not fit with the wide stock fender. They will fit most choppers with slimmer style fenders, 16”, 18”, and 19” tires. They will fit stock, aftermarket, and replica rigid frames as well as most aftermarket weld on hardtails. All pics shown here are 19” rear tires. The holes on the filter mount are slotted to 3/8” to allow for adjusting the position of the mount using the two 5/16” mounting bolts.
